loved ones. Bonus points if it is on an out of state car license plate. If it can be done safely, take a screenshot.
CAUTION: Some people don’t like seeing strangers
take pictures of their license plates in parking lots. It looks shady or suspicious. When taking a picture of a car in a parking lot in broad daylight, pretend it is really bright, putting your hand over your screen, and act like you’re trying to squint at your phone screen as it is pointed in the direction of the license plate you screenshot so it looks like you’re just trying to read a text message.
SAFETY: Taking pictures while driving can be dangerous. So do it at a stoplight.
