Yu-Gi-Oh! Meta Update: Book of Moon & Morphing Jar Adjustments

The latest balance patch introduces key adjustments to two iconic cards: Book of Moon and Morphing Jar, reshaping their roles in competitive play.
Book of Moon now has a revised activation condition: it can no longer target face-up monsters unaffected by Spell effects. This change aims to reduce its dominance as a generic disruption tool while preserving its utility in countering combo-heavy strategies.
Morphing Jar undergoes a once-per-turn restriction on its flip effect. Additionally, players must now discard one card to activate its ability, preventing infinite loop exploits in certain mill-focused decks.
These updates reflect efforts to diversify the meta by limiting overly versatile cards and encouraging creative deck-building strategies. While both cards retain core functionalities, their revised mechanics promote healthier interactions across duel formats.

Note: These changes apply to the latest Forbidden & Limited List revision (October 2024).
